In 2021-2023, we managed projects in the Galaxy Migration programme. We managed services & subscribers’ migration to the new 5G Mobile Cloud Core network (MCC). We managed a cross-functional project team of 30 people, as well as multiple 3rd party suppliers, we were responsible for the definition and delivery of time-critical outcomes, working with third party supplier organisations who are delivering key components of the overall solution. This project delivered the migration strategy for several Mobile Network Services. |
Nokia
This is one of Nokia’s top 5G deliveries worldwide for the operator 3UK (in 2020-2021), and the world’s first next-generation cloud-native core network. Within Maya Programme, we managed Upgrades & Automation Programme which is one of the core delivery programmes delivering the following projects: Micro Segmentation, RSD (Regulatory Services), Automation, SGi-LAN, and Software Upgrades. |
IBM
As part of the PMO, we managed complex large scale BSS transformation programme for STC back in 2015-2016. In this programme, there were 8 vendors working on a tight delivery time plan to deliver enhanced integrated BSS layer for all STC products and services, for all business units; Consumer, Enterprise and Wholesale. |
Alcatel-Lucent
More than 10 years of management work with Alcatel-Lucent started with their US$6 billion project with STC in Saudi Arabia between 1998 to 2000. We managed the deployment of Lucent OSS for STC transmission network which was the first fiber network in the country. Also, managed Lucent 3G (UMTS) product portfolio between 2000 and 2008 in their UMTS headquarters in Swindon, UK. Our work included UMTS product management, UMTS trials management, and UMTS project support. |
Oracle Communications
In 2012-2013, we managed Oracle Communications OSS products delivery and integration in KAFD-ITCC multi-million Dollar project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This project delivers E2E fixed telecom solution with triple play service (Voice, Data & IPTV) to Saudi Telecom Company. The solution is a blend of IBM and Oracle top-shelf products in BSS/OSS domain. |
Logica
In 2011, MAAS Consulting managed the integration and deployment of a suite of world-class OSS/BSS products for one of Logica’s top customers in Saudi Arabia (Mobily). In this project, MAAS Consulting managed a team of 23 professionals responsible for interface development, integration, deployment and testing of five work streams (fault management, performance management, inventory management, service assurance, and service fulfillment). Also, MAAS Consulting managed the customer interface in terms of requirements management, acceptance, and payments. |
Atheeb Telecom (GO) – Saudi Arabia
In 2009-2010, we managed GO enterprise telecom products based at Atheeb headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. GO telecom network is based on the WiMAX and IP/MPLS technologies. We defined product requirements, product specifications, and worked with the marketing team to deploy these products in the market. |
Qtel (Qatar Telecom)
In 2009, MAAS Consulting managed Qtel’s enterprise telecom products such as IPT (IP Telephony) and FMC (Fixed Mobile Convergence) products. We defined product requirements and product specifications/pricing based on the regulator’s rules of business. We worked with Qtel on developing new product concepts within the FMC business area to be able to expand Qtel’s market presence in Qatar. |
